Top 10 List- June 26, 2020
Happy summer! Being that we just got through our first week of summer, I thought that I would share my favorite summer beauty products. Most of the time in the summer I like to keep my makeup and skincare very simple, since I’ll probably sweat a lot of it off anyways. These products have become my favorites for getting through the (extremely!) hot summer days here in Arizona.
SunBum Mineral Tinted Sunscreen Face Lotion SPF 30
I found this sunscreen last year after coming back from Hawaii, where SunBum is a very popular sunscreen company, since all of their sunscreens are reef-safe. I love that the this sunscreen has a lightweight matte feel so I don’t feel shiny or greasy, and the tint helps the mineral sunscreen blend really easily into my skin.
Honest Beauty Tinted Lip Balm in Summer Melon
I love the light pink color of this lip balm, it adds just enough color to make it look like I have put some effort in, but still looks natural. This balm is also really hydrating.
Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen SPF 40
This sunscreen is one of the best I have ever used. As someone who has been a lifeguard for many summers and lives in Arizona, that is a very high compliment. It is on the pricey side, so I generally order the 0.5 oz size, which still lasts me a long time, but in my opinion, it is worth the price and hype.
Silver Market Co Rainbow Eucalyptus Sea Salt Scrub
I have ordered products from Silver Market Co many times over the last couple years, and I have yet to be disappointed. This Sea Salt Scrub smells amazing and is great for making your legs and hands smooth.
dpHUE Apple Cider Vinegar Leave-In Hair Therapy
I’ve been using this spray for a couple of years now every time I get out of the shower. It helps detangle, provide heat protection, and helps smooth your hair.
SunBum Texturizing Sea Spray
During the summer I like to let my hair air-dry as much as possible. This spray is the best sea salt spray I have tried (which is many) and gives my hair some body, which it definitely needs.
Kristin Ess Loose Styling Powder
I bought this styling powder a couple years ago to try out with my braids and have used it ever since. It is perfect for adding more grit to my hair for braids and helps them keep their shape and stay in all day.
SunBum Original Sunscreen Lip Balm SPF 30 – Coconut
A lot of people forget about sun protection for their lips, but it is just as important as anywhere else. This lip balm tastes really good and is always in my purse.
Shiseido Eyelash Curler
In the summer I don’t really wear mascara very often, especially since I go to the pool most days. However, I do still curl my eyelashes in order to give them a little boost, since they definitely need it. I bought this eyelash curler after hearing about it from other people and it is a game changer.
Banana Boat Soothing Aloe After Sun Gel
Although I do my best not to get sunburned, it still happens from time to time, and this stuff is the best. A little goes a long way and it helps my sunburns heal much faster.
